The Kittilä environmental week will be held on June 5-11, 2023 - come along!

Kittilä's environmental week is celebrated at the same time as Lapland's and the EU's green week at the beginning of June, 5-11 June 2023. World Environment Day starts the week on June 5, 2023. During the week, several cleaning activities are organized and the municipal residents and everyone working in the area are encouraged to tidy up their surroundings in summer condition. All residents, associations, companies and operators in the area join us to take up the challenge for the environment! Schools and educational institutions are encouraged to include environmental week events in the program as early as May in the name of environmental education.
