ecoKIERROS tours annually during the summer, receiving household hazardous waste, electronic waste, metal waste, unsorted waste, landfill waste, discarded textiles, and donations suitable for UFF collection free of charge. The ecoKIERROS service is provided with the basic waste management fee.
General Guidelines for the ecoKIERROS Service
- Waste is accepted up to the amount of one car trailer per household.
- Waste must be handed directly to the collection. No waste should be left at the stop locations before or after the collection.
- Household kitchen waste (combustible mixed waste), pressure-treated wood, boats, and asbestos are not accepted in the collection.
- Small amounts of household hazardous waste are accepted during the tour. Hazardous waste must be carefully packed, kept separate from each other, and packaging labels must be taken care of.
- Oils and solid oily waste should be brought in separate containers to the collection. The maximum amount of waste oil accepted is 100 liters per household.
- Barrels containing waste oil are not accepted. Empty barrels are accepted as metal waste.
- Households can bring waste that is not suitable for bin or area collection. Such waste includes sofas, small renovation waste batches, and garden furniture.

- Windows up to 3-4 pieces
- Toilets up to 2 pieces
- Pallets up to 2 pieces
- Roofing felt up to 2 garbage bags
- Small amounts of vehicle tires are accepted

ecoKIERROS Service collects large waste items from properties
ecoNOUTO Service The ecoNOUTO service collects large scrap metals and scrap vehicles directly from properties. The collection can be ordered year-round, but for the summer of 2025, the order must be placed by July 13th using the electronic form available on Lapecon's website or by contacting the municipal service center. Ordering Instructions Large scrap metals suitable for collection include, for example, oil boilers and metal oil tanks. For collection, the tanks must have a cleaning certificate. The customer must ensure that the scrap metals and the scrap vehicle to be collected are accessible by truck during the collection.
