The Kittilä Library is part of the Lapin kirjasto (Lapland Library) network, whose joint online platform allows you to search for and reserve materials, renew loans, and order materials from other libraries.
In order to borrow or renew any materials, you need a library card number and PIN-code, which you can get from the Main Library or the Mobile Library.
The Kittilä Library has about 48,000 works, including books, magazines, music (sheet music, CDs, and LPs), movies, and audiobooks.
The Local Heritage collection has materials about Kittilä, such as newspaper cutouts from 1980-2020.
The library’s reading areas have a diverse magazine selection, which is updated with about 75 new magazines annually. These can also be borrowed from the library.
