The complex is divided into three areas: an area for playing sports, a grandstand area, and a climbing area. There are also six changing rooms and a cafeteria. More information can be found in the brochure document on this page (in Finnish, esite tiedosto).
Gym timeslots
Application forms for timeslots at the Kittilä Sports Complex, Sirkka’s school gymnasium, and the local gym in Kittilä Village can be found in the links on this page, or in paper form at the Kittilä Sports Complex and the Municipal Building in the cultural services corridor. The application should be returned to the sports office (Valtatie 15, 99100 Kittilä) or by email to Liikuntatoimisto@kittila.fi.

Note that staff isn’t always onsite at the sports complex, which is why the door is usually locked. Instructors will let participants inside. Make sure to arrive 15 mins before your scheduled timeslot, or by the time your instructor has given you.
On weekdays from 9-15, the complex is used by the schools and daycares, as well as other groups. However, each week is different, so make sure to ask about available timeslots on weekdays as well. Note that there is significantly less activity during summer months than during the winter.
Remember to cancel your timeslots if you’re unable to make it! The municipality has the right to cancel timeslot reservations, if necessary, for events or other exceptional circumstances, for example.
