Library services in Kittilä
Kittilä offers free, basic library services, which provide access to materials, information, and cultural content. The library houses a diverse collection of materials, and offers spaces for learning, hobbies, and other civic activities. The library also supports lifelong learning, freedom of speech, and engaged citizenship. The library director is responsible for all library services and activities
Current book recommendations and new releases are available at the library.
The Main Library has wireless internet. You can read Finnish digital newspapers on the library’s public computer. Two desktop computers are reserved for users (adults), but we have not yet gotten the Hublet-tablets to work.
The Kittilä/Kolari Mobile Library as well as the Raattama Borrowing Station are also part of our library services.
