Parks and green areas
The maintenance supervisor is responsible for the municipality’s parks and green areas. Feedback can be given through the feedback channel.
The Municipality of Kittilä maintains four playgrounds in Kittilä, and you’ll also find play equipment in daycare and school yards. Read more about playgrounds and play areas here.
The dog parks in Kittilä and Sirkka are both maintained by Kittilä Municipality.
Landscaping
There are specific requirements for landscaping in Kittilä due to its northern location. It is highly recommended to choose plants that naturally grow in the area.
