Dog park etiquette
Please follow dog park etiquette when visiting:
1. The dog park is meant for all dogs, and dog owners are responsible for ensuring a good and safe environment in the park.
2. The dog owner is responsible for their dog and any issues caused by their dog affecting other dogs or people. Each person is, however, responsible for their own clothing.
3. Be mindful of others in the dog park.
4. Dogs cannot be left alone in the park without supervision. Always go into the park ahead of your dog.
5. Make sure to close the gate carefully when coming and going.
6. Keep the area clean; pick up dog waste and bring it to the waste bin in a waste bag.
7. Antisocial dogs should not come to the park or must leave when others arrive.
8. All dog vaccines must be up to date. Female dogs in heat or sick dogs are not allowed in the park.
9. Throwing balls, sticks, or other toys is not allowed when there are unfamiliar dogs in the park with you.
10. Children are not allowed alone in the dog park. Note that not all dogs are used to being around children.
