The Ounasjoki River is the largest river within Finland’s borders that flows freely without human interference. It flows from Enontekiö to Rovaniemi and is about 300km with an average width of about 150m (ranges from 60-300m). The river is home to grayling, trout, whitefish, perch, pike, and roach.
