The emergency number is meant only for urgent matters; for other matters, please call during normal working hours.

- On weekdays from 15.00-8.00
- On weekends from Friday 15.00 until Monday 8.00
- During holidays, the on-call number can be used from 15.00 on the previous working day until 8.00 on the following workday
You cannot send text or voice messages to the emergency number. If no one answers immediately, the veterinarian will call back as soon as possible. You can also call again later.
The Tunturi-Lapin Ympäristöterveydenhuolto service is a joint one; on weekday evenings and weekends, there is one on-call vet for Enontekiö, Kittilä, Muonio, and Sodankylä.
